Animal Welfare Institute

Since 1951, the Animal Welfare Institute has been alleviating suffering inflicted on animals by humans. one of their many endeavors is to abolish factory farms, support high-welfare family farms, and achieve humane slaughter for animals raised for food.

AWI has been awarded an A+ rating by CharityWatch and a 4-star rating by Charity Navigator.

- We persuaded a federal court that the US Fish and Wildlife Service is violating the Endangered Species Act and National Environmental Policy Act by failing to protect the only wild population of red wolves.

Elephants Sanctuary

This organization started in 1995 when circuses were still a popular attraction. Their goal to raise public awareness of the problems with the industry has clearly gained traction. This alone is impressive, but the organization’s work on the ground is more powerful.

Elephants that have lived their lives in captivity have an opportunity at The Sanctuary to live in an expansive habitat that allows for a range of natural behaviors.

As a true sanctuary, The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee is closed to the public. The best way to see the elephants is by live-streaming EleCams, which can be viewed on this site.

In addition to the habitats, the Elephant Sanctuary provides live online distance learning material for all ages and hands-on self-guided exhibits at their Elephant Discover Center in Hohenwald, Tennessee.

Lady Freethinker

LFT helped stop S. Korea’s largest dog meat auction after their thorough investigation into the matter in March 2021. Additionally, they have other investigations going on across the world.

 The Marine Mammal Center started in 1975 and today houses the largest marine hospital in the world. Their mission to rescue and rehabilitate has helped the organization rescue more than 24,000 marine mammals along the California coastline and the island of Hawaii.

Their veterinary experts develop new clinical techniques to improve marine mammal rehabilitation and care and investigate the reasons why marine mammals strand and how these factors are connected to the ecosystem and human health.

This organization responds to more stranded marine mammals than anyone in the world. Donors can also support their efforts by adopting a Seal.

Your donation will go towards our Employ to Plant methodology of providing local communities with jobs to restore and protect their natural environment.
